In order to ensure your prints come out looking as good as possible there's a couple of things you'll need to keep in mind.

1. Image Specifications:

• Colour Mode: Convert your images to CMYK colour mode. This ensures that the colours in your prints closely match the colours produced by our 10-colour CMYK printer.
• Image Size: Images for A2 print should be 5008 pixels by 7063 pixels (or 424mm x 598mm) at 300 DPI (dots per inch). This resolution ensures sharp and clear prints without pixelation.
• Typically we prepare files for A2 only, then downscale for A3 if required - if you would prefer to resize the A3 files yourself please let us know and we can provide a spec for you.

2. Transparency:

• Remove any transparencies from your images before uploading. Transparency effects might not translate well to print and could result in unintended visual outcomes.

3. Colour Variation:

• Keep in mind that printed colours may appear slightly different from what you see on your RGB LED screen. Our printer utilizes a 10-colour CMYK system, which can produce a wider range of colours than traditional 4-colour systems. Therefore, some colours might appear richer or more saturated in print - if in doubt  we'd recommend erring towards brightening your files slightly if the designs are dark or use a lot of black.

4. Template Usage:

• For your convenience, we offer templates that match our printing specifications. Using our templates ensures that your artwork is accurately sized and positioned, reducing the risk of any cropping or alignment issues during printing.

Solidstateprint.com Artist Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Solidstateprint.com (referred to as "the Website"). By submitting files on our Website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Website.

2. Artist's Agreement

By uploading your art designs to Solidstateprint.com, you ("the Artist") acknowledge and agree to the following:

a. Copyright Ownership: The Artist retains full copyright ownership of the uploaded art designs. Solidstateprint.com does not claim ownership over the art designs.

b. Printing and Sales: The Artist grants Solidstateprint.com the right to reproduce, print, and sell products featuring the art designs to customers. The Artist will earn a commission for each sale of their art design as specified in the commission agreement.

c. Promotional Use: The Artist grants Solidstateprint.com the right to use the art designs, along with the Artist's name and associated branding, in promotional material, including but not limited to, marketing campaigns, advertisements, and social media posts.

3. Commission and Payments

a. Commission Calculation: The commission percentage for each sale of the Artist's art design will be as agreed upon between the Artist and Solidstateprint.com and will be outlined in the commission agreement.

b. Payment: Solidstateprint.com will make commission payments to the Artist based on the sales of products featuring the art designs. Payments will be made according to the payment schedule outlined in the commission agreement.

4. Copyright and Intellectual Property

a. Ownership: The Artist represents and warrants that they are the lawful owner of the uploaded art designs and have the right to grant the licenses as described in these Terms.

b. Infringement Claims: Solidstateprint.com respects copyright and intellectual property rights. If Solidstateprint.com receives a valid notice of copyright infringement related to any art design, it may remove the design from the Website and take appropriate actions.

5. Termination

Solidstateprint.com reserves the right to terminate or suspend access to the Website at its sole discretion, including but not limited to, violation of these Terms or any applicable laws.

6. Modifications

Solidstateprint.com reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Website after such modifications will constitute your agreement to the updated Terms.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.

We are not currently accepting AI Generated art.
We will not be dealing in AI generated art until there is a fair and equitable method of generating AI art that respects the original artist's work that was used to train the AI models.

1. Copyright Responsibility: Users who engage in our custom printing service are required to confirm that they possess the requisite copyright or licensing rights for the content they submit. Operating on a foundation of trust, we rely on users to uphold honesty and responsibility for the content they upload. Should you have concerns about the copyright status of your uploaded art, we recommend seeking legal counsel prior to proceeding.
2. Embracing Global Artistic Diversity: Acknowledging the immense diversity of the global art landscape, we recognize the challenge of confirming every potential instance of intellectual property. We rely on the integrity of our users to honor copyright standards and exhibit respect for the rights of creators.

4. Reporting Copyright Infringement:
